I got into real estate because I have always loved helping people through meaningful life transitions.
Buying or selling a home is not just a transaction. It is one of the biggest decisions most people will ever make, and I wanted to be the kind of person who could guide clients through that process with honesty, patience, and care.
Real estate was actually my first choice, even before I started my career. A friend talked me into going into business with her instead, and I spent 20 years at WJBF-TV, the ABC affiliate here in Augusta, before leaving to co-own a wholesale diamond and jewelry business with a partner for five years. I waited to pursue real estate until my children were older. Weekends were something I wanted to protect for my family, and real estate doesn't really allow for that until your kids are grown. Once they were, I finally made the move to my first choice.
What drives me is seeing people gain clarity and confidence. Whether I am helping a first-time buyer understand their options, helping a seller position their home properly, or guiding a family through a move, I believe my job is to make the process feel less overwhelming and more informed.
I believe real estate is built on trust, character, and service. Technology, marketing, and market data are powerful tools, but they only matter when they are paired with genuine care and strong communication. That is why I combine more than 20 years of local real estate experience with modern AI-powered strategies to help clients make smart decisions in today's market.
After all these years, I still love real estate because every client, every home, and every story is different. I love being part of a chapter that matters. Helping people move forward, protect their investment, and feel good about the decisions they make.
Outside of work, I've played tennis for 25 years and have been dedicated to fitness and nutrition for 35 years. I also enjoy yoga and meditation. Habits that keep me grounded and help me bring a calm, steady presence to a process that can otherwise feel stressful for clients.
